When I was growing up I was always amazed how immigrants from South Korea would dominate the small restaurant business in the greater Seattle area. I always wondered how they could afford to do it. Were they all rich immigrants?
So I asked one of my Korean friends and was told that they were a member of a Korean Restaurant Investment Club. My friend said that there was about a dozen established restaurant owners who founded this club. And, they would all pool their money together and loan new prospective members enough cash to get started.
I always thought this was a great idea, so I intend to try to simulate this concept. Contact me for more information…… glenn.tamura@UrbanFamilyUSA.com
