more2….. During college I majored in Business Accounting and we studied a lot of companies like IBM, Boeing, GE. Ford, etc. I was looking for ways to start a business and one of my classmates introduced me to the Manager of a company called MESBIC (Minority Enterprise Small Business Investment Corporation). MESBIC helped me write a Business Plan and eventually awarded me a (life-changing) small business Start-Up Loan. It was a small amount of money but enough to allow me to launch my entrepreneurial career. Today I’m in the twilight of my life. I’ve had a long and fruitful life, and I realize now that my good fortune started with that small startup loan from MESBIC. So now I want to pay it forward by helping minority families start a business of their own. I have created a fund I call the “Women and Minority Startup Capital” (WMSC) fund.
Unfortunately, our current Federal Administration is currently dysfuntional. Consequently, I am delaying the launch of this website until after the November-2026 Midterm elections.
